  • Patient Assessment and Incident Procedure
  • Cardiac First Response at Community Level
  • Management of Common Medical Emergencies
  • Injury Management and Shock Treatment
  • Care for Unconscious Patients
  • Burns and Electrical Injury Care
  • Hypothermia and Hyperthermia Management
  • Information Management and Communications
  • First Aider Well-being
  • The course duration is 3 days. (flexible scheduling available)
  • This can be broken down to 1 day a week or 3 consecutive days together.
  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Practical Assessment: All assessments are carried out in accordance with PHECC (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council) requirements and are externally reviewed before certification is issued. 

Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) First Aid Response certificate, valid for 2 years 

Renewal:

In order to maintain your qualification after a two-years period, you will be required to undertake a recertification course. This course consists of a two-day course designed to refresh the knowledge and skills you learned from your initial training. You must have a valid First Aid Response certificate in order to partake in the two-day course.
