Are you looking to become a certified First Aid Responder in Ireland? Our comprehensive 3-day PHECC accredited course covers all essential aspects of workplace first aid, meeting Health & Safety Authority (HSA) requirements.
What You'll Learn in Our FAR Training:
- Patient Assessment and Incident Procedure
- Cardiac First Response at Community Level
- Management of Common Medical Emergencies
- Injury Management and Shock Treatment
- Care for Unconscious Patients
- Burns and Electrical Injury Care
- Hypothermia and Hyperthermia Management
- Information Management and Communications
- First Aider Well-being
- The course duration is 3 days. (flexible scheduling available)
- This can be broken down to 1 day a week or 3 consecutive days together.
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Practical Assessment: All assessments are carried out in accordance with PHECC (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council) requirements and are externally reviewed before certification is issued.
Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) First Aid Response certificate, valid for 2 years
Renewal:
In order to maintain your qualification after a two-years period, you will be required to undertake a recertification course. This course consists of a two-day course designed to refresh the knowledge and skills you learned from your initial training. You must have a valid First Aid Response certificate in order to partake in the two-day course.
Tribes First Aid is affiliated with UFAS- A PHECC recognised institution.

What I mean by entertaining is Lisa was able keep the spirits lifted throughout a period that can sometimes be quite tedious. She was able to answer all the questions we had as a sailing school with personal experience and knowledge. No questions was too silly or too exaggerated. Jacqui Conway29. April, 2025Amazing day of training with Lisa a few weeks ago. I had first aid training many years ago and it just didn't compare at all to Lisa's level of expertise. By the end of the day I really felt confident that I became someone that could react in a first aid scenario. Instead of just explaining what to do, she explains what to expect and the reality of dealing with people and other distractions in an emergency. This really helped me to imagine the scenario and what I should prioritise. Lisa was also open to questions and was extremely approachable throughout the training. I'd highly highly recommend her services to anyone that wants to not only learn about first aid but also wants to walk away convinced that they can jump in to help in a real-world situation.
