Our Manual Handling Course covers the following skills:
- Understanding Ergonomics in the Workplace
- Anatomy and Common Causes of Manual Handling Injuries
- Relevant Legislation and Employer Responsibilities
- Conducting Ergonomic Risk Assessments
- Principles of Safe Lifting and Handling
- Implementing Preventative Measures
- Importance of Flexibility and Healthy Lifestyle
- The course duration is 2.5 to 3 hours of intensive, practical training
- Learners will be continually assessed throughout the duration of the course and are required to perform a practical lifting assessment, demonstrating correct technique, upon completion of course.
- Tribes First Aid Manual Handling certificate, valid for 3 years

Lisa is highly experienced and an excellent communicator. We enjoyed the day and the time flew by. Lisa goes the extra mile by checking the onsite defibrillators and checking the club first aid bags for relevant contents for first aid.
